Kris Megna, Founder and President

 

Kris Megna founded weSIMPLIFI Business Growth in 2008. She's gained a breadth of experience in the areas of operations, marketing, human resources, event management, bookkeeping, and customer service, through her over 20 years working with a variety of organizations - from startups and small businesses to law firms and an international publicly-traded telecom networking and communications company with over 100,000 employees. In addition to working in the legal and high tech industries, she has worked for consulting firms, restaurants, retailers, and even the circus!

 

Kris worked for the creator of Circuit City assisting with the management of personal assets and more than 15 investment-related entities and provided support with authoring of Good to Great to Gone: The 60 Year Rise & Fall of Circuit City.

 

Kris has crafted policies and procedures in the legal, food & beverage, technology, and health care industries, among other. She managed the office of a national law firm where she oversaw operations, human resources, and marketing.

 

As a facilities manager, she trimmed the budget by 10% annually by streamlining process, renegotiating contracts, and new equipment acquisition, which increased overall productivity and efficiency. In the area of marketing, she has managed over 20 trade shows and 30 corporate events and two office grand openings with budgets of up to $100,000. Kris has designed web and intranet sites, created and managed social media marketing campaigns, and developed key marketing materials.

Kris holds a BS in business management from University of Maryland where she graduated summa cum laude. She lived in Washington, DC for 16 years and is now proud to be called an Austinite.
